This is where it all started:

Organized by passionate Food Producers from Devon, Yarty Valley, Hi-T's Fudge & Langage Farm; our aim was to create different food events from the norm.

We live in the best part of Britain and have the best food here in the South West and decided it was time to shout about it!

After attending many shows across the country we felt that it was time to do something different. We tried to keep costs down for both producers and visitors, as we were not out to make a profit and our time was being given free of charge. This enabled us to raise funds for local charities as well as providing a fair profit for local food producers.

Why are we different?

We only have a very limited number of the same producers; this means that there is a much larger variety of products for sale for the discerning foodie. Our aim was to fill stalls with the largest variety of produce and create some fantastic consumer Food & Drink events across Devon, hoping to turn food shows around for both public and producers, whilst also raising money for local charities.

Our first event, "Eat The Devon Way", held at Dingle Fairground Heritage Centre near Lifton in May 2011, proved that we have the ability to organize a fantastic and professional event, and we have earned the support of Waitrose we are eager to attend and support all our events.

Things have now progressed, but still with a difference:

Devon Producer Events (now Yarty Valley Provisions & Hi-T's Fudge) are branching out into wedding fayres. We have seen a gap in the market which we intend to fill.

We have been made aware of how difficult it is to find companies who cater for civil partnerships. We have therefore set about to organize wedding fayre which will cater to the needs of any wedding whether it be traditional, civil partnership, or just something a little different.
